Friends and fellow retro gaming enthusiasts of New York and nearby areas! I will be appearing at this year's Long Island Retro Gaming Expo once again with a setup of over 50 PCs, and a selection of DOS, Windows, & LAN-networked games. But of course that's just a tiny bit of an amazing retro experience this event offers. Guests, tournaments, cosplay, and *hundreds* of interactive exhibits are waiting for you this August. I hope to see some of you there! Tickets: https://l...

Any vintage printer enthusiasts in the house? I was given a 1984 Toshiba P1340 printer to make a vintage printing station for a public event. Printing simple text from DOS is a breeze, but I'm yet to accomplish *anything* beyond that. Print Shop & its clones don't directly support it. And selecting suggested compatibles doesn't seem to work either. Not my field of expertise, so I'm at a loss. Any suggestions? (EDIT: I have no manual for it, or any other kind of documentation...

Saw a scene from an adult film, and was surprised that the lady performer had a Quake 2 logo tattoo. It took me an entire clip to realize that it was probably an "€". 🤷
