  I scanned some pages from my sketchbook and seeing some progress made me smile (!). But still I feel like I’m in my own bubble — what are the ideas on how to expand your drawing skill? How to try something different, and what does it mean *different*? Have to think about it, or maybe just draw more and it will come. #type #sketch #letters #smile

  When I drew this ligature, I thought that it’s a super fun addition that probably nobody will use, but can make someone smile while using this type (of course as an option, and never as a default ligature) And some time has passed, I’m not that excited anymore but still I think it’s a weird and fun combo, like t and j are holding hands and are about to dance. Hope you smiled when it appeared on your feed. Also it is work in progress, and some more decisions have to be made. #type #ligatures

  By the end of last year, I created a type-focused group on Discord, mainly because I wanted the whole group (TypeWest ’25) to stay in touch. But I think it is mostly about being in a group that’s interested in type and want to forever explore this topic. Now I think it would be amazing to expand it and open it up to others, people who are either studying or want to talk about type, meet at events, or sometimes work together.
