Hello! I love listening to public radio while baking and cooking. My book shelf is currently occupied by a row of Sir Terry Pratchett’s novels surrounded by an eclectic literary neighborhood of science fiction, socioeconomics, art and the occasional horror novel. I love getting outside to appreciate nature. With some exceptions, my posts will auto delete after 2 weeks. Pronouns: She/her

My three good things today are 1) spending time with my daughter 2) exploring the botanical gardens with her 3) still feeling delighted and surprised by all the beautiful creatures and plants no matter how many times I spot them

Whenever I find an intensely purple flower, a small part of me believes (and hopes) I can suddenly see light in the ultraviolet end of the spectrum. This is one bloom of a hydrangea. Hydrangea make me think of Impressionism in art. #bloomscrolling #flowers #purple
