I am at a car dealership. I booked a test drive. The car I want to drive is going to be "out for another hour". WTF, how do businesses work like this. They want to talk to me about financing in the meantime. Unless they offer me ridiculous money for my daily drivers, it is unlikely. What a waste of time

Do I spend the evening trying to debug and fix my website before #emfcamp or do I hold up a sign when I get that that says "I have root but have forgotten the magic incantations, please help me fix my stupid website" and see what happens?

#emfcamp i have an HP 7475A plotter, not sure if it works, but I'd quite like to sell it if you'd like to buy it. Make me an offer. I'll pop it in the swap shop later in the weekend if it doesn't go.

Today I Learned of the Tell Us Once service, which would have been so helpful a decade ago. What to do after someone dies: Tell Us Once - GOV.UK https://www.gov.uk/after-a-death/organisations-you-need-to-contact-and-tell-us-once

Anybody heading to #emfcamp want to get rid of/sell any Eufy cameras? I want to expand my garden wildlife setup, but don't need new kit. Happy to pay sensible 2nd hand money.

Anybody got any pointers for GUI based #sdr software for R820T based sticks for OSX? On my old linux box I was decoding 433Mhz stuff and it was fun.

Yeah, I definitely need a massive US truck because I do DIY.... (No comments on the safety or this please). 1994 #mx5 proving to be the answer. Again. This will be the raw materials for my next #woodworking project, a bench made out of a huge oak log.

My neighbors must wonder who I am. This evening, hanging out of the upstairs window, playing birdsong from youtube out of my phone, vanishing inside, then doing some whooping and celebrarting. Or... testing BirdNET Go, and nobody was out there singing.

At what stage of monetary wealth do you not need to thing about laundry? I'm sure middle class millionaires do. I'm fairly sure most billionaires don't. Where's the line?

At the weekend I saw a toot, with @roastinghouse saying that this was their primary social media account. I have a coffee subscription with Pact for aeropress suitable grounds already, but I end up buying caffetier grounds from Sainsbury's. But these folks seemed to be much more thoughtful, and they're in my old stomping grounds of Sheffield, so I took a punt. This lunchtime a package arrived, via the postie, and it's so well packed and smells amazing. Support owner run...
