Just updated to MacOS 27 Developer Beta 3 and the hiding of menubar icons is still broken! I'll be so glad when this gets fixed. #MacOS #MacApps #Mac #DeveloperBeta #MacOS27

What MacOS app do people use to view storage space on their device? My M4 Mac Mini doesn't have a lot of storage since I got the base model, but I'd love to find an app that breaks it all down for me so I know where my space is being used. #MacOS #MacApps #Mac #Storage

@pixelbud@techbacon.social Thanks again for reaching out yesterday. I purchase Symbiote this morning, installed it and got my /Applications symlinked over with no issues at all. I really like the simplicity of the app and what it does. I'll definitely be writing up a review of this in the coming weeks.

@marti As if that wasn't obvious.

Did some cleanup on my feed over the last of couple of days. Figured out there were some folks that I didn't want nor need to see their bullshit any longer, so that's taken care of. It's crazy how you think some folks are good people, and then suddenly they show their true colors by things they say, things they do, things they post or whatever. It's like it changes over night. Seems to be a pretty regular occurrence, unfortunately.

@ernmander@squatch.online Ah, no worries! Certainly not a big rush at all.

Pops, it was 5 years ago today that I lost you. That's when I lost my best friend, my rock, my shoulder to lean on, the best father ever put on this planet. I miss you more than I can ever put into words and it grows each and every day! I love you so much and just wish I could do anything to hear your voice or give you a huge hug! Life is hard without you, but thankfully you taught me so many things and how to be ready to traverse life without you and I couldn't be anymore appreciative...

@BenReser@infosec.exchange As in the moderator for the Mandrake IRC channel on Freenode back years and years ago?

It sucks when you meet some good people but things don't align with everyone to have a home on a platform that everyone likes. It's certainly part of how social media works today and has for years and will continue to do so going forward for a long time. I guess it's time to find something new, something that works for me and something I enjoy. I guess Mastodon is the only place I'm meant to be at this time. I have friends here, right? Y'all are my friends, aren't you...

Guess it's time to block @mullvadnet@mastodon.online as well as set up a filter to block out all mentions of their products or their account. My feed has been nothing but their bullshit for several hours now. Time to get that stuff out of the feed.

I'm writing this post here today in hopes to bring some attention to something that is near and dear to my heart, and that's an update to the current situation with Nova Launcher, that I worked for and with for nine years up until August of 2024. For those that haven't seen the news, Kevin Barry, the founder and developer of Nova has left Branch which in turn means he's now no longer involved with Nova Launcher in any way going forward. https://teslacoilapps.c...

This has got to be the dumbest thing I've read in all of my years of existence on this planet. Work/Life update for Cliff Wade... Over the past week or so, I've been mentioning, "More details coming soon..." at various times. So many people are wondering what's going on, so as of today, yesterday really, I can finally give the full details. As many of you know, and for those that don't know, I spent nearly 9 years working for Kevin Barry, the founder/creator/developer of Nova Launcher. We even went through an acquisition where Branch acquired No...
