  #Fork, a git client I've been using for probably a decade, and that frankly should cost more, is now adding vertical tabs. Previously, it had horizontal Safari-style tabs, and eventually added a notion of "workspaces" to switch between different _sets_ of tabs. This was in theory useful (for example, I had work and home workspaces), but I've always found it clunky.

  Is there a #Chromium fork that uses Sparkle, or a similarly unobtrusive self-updater? Chrome constantly having background daemons is gross and silly when I rarely use it. (Edge is mildly better in that Microsoft AutoUpdate is more configurable, but feels junked up as of late)

  The end of the penultimate episode of #Silo season 3 is basically where I saw things going, although I still have big questions. (Was that nuke real? Was it planned this way? By whom, and to what end?) But then early episode 10? "Troy” overseeing the murder of 9,500+ civilians with gas, then machine guns, like it’s a video game is some of the bleakest shit I’ve ever seen.

So it sounds like they back ported their early LK just for TV. (And yes, LK = CA, not Quartz/CG. Not sure why the name change other than Steve wanting a purple CA orb at dub-dub. That’s probably the only reason.)
