Went camping. Rode bikes along rivers. Cooked outdoors. Napped midday. Read. Swam. Enjoyed waterfalls. Went to a music festival. Ate tacos. Made cocktails. All with my best friend my wife. Good mini vacation.

Mark all as read - I no longer feel as though I need to read every single post across all of the networks, accounts, and people that I follow. It feels good. https://cdevroe.com/2026/06/30/mark-all-as-read/

Signboard 1.6! You can now use local models to help you using Smart Actions. I'm really looking forward to seeing what actions people make. (A bunch of other improvements too) https://cdevroe.com/signboard/

I just want to pause and remark how fortunate we are for the many years of hard work by the developers of ActivityPub, Mastodon and the apps we enjoy every day. Twitter’s downfall may have felt sudden, but Mastodon’s rise was not. Thanks to @evan & W3C for ActivityPub, to @Gargron and all Mastodon contributors, and to the iOS and macOS developers. - @mammoth - @ivory - @MonaApp - @IceCubesApp - Official Mastodon apps Donate to Mastodon, donate to your instance, buy these apps.

I wish the Artemis II crew took 100 little satellites with excellent cameras with them and left them orbiting the moon so we could have near realtime view from there at all times.

@atpfm I never thought of the npm fund list as an ad until @siracusa mentioned it. And now I can't unsee it as that. That's it, I don't have any conclusions.

Maybe we can start a little something here... #8DollarPledge The #8DollarPledge is a commitment to donate at least $8 USD (or equivalent) per month to the ActivityPub ecosystem. Mastodon instances, app developers, etc etc? Please reply with other projects that deserve to be supported monetarily. And also please reply and/or boost if you're going to make this commitment. I'm in.
