@nzdjb life is too short for that kind of rubbish.

I wholeheartedly recommend CTFs and Hack the Box for continuing professional education credits for ISC2 certifications. Over half of this was automatically submitted for me and was way more interesting and did much more for me than sitting through endless webinars on 'Vibe Your Way to Security with AI'

In horrible little computer adventures I now have 32 hours worth of still not doing the thing I am meant to be doing instead of tinkering.

Computers are far too easy these days. That is why I CTF, so I can spend a relaxing Sunday night dredging perl cpan syntax up from the dark ages to escape circular dependency hell and hopefully turn this blob of random bytes into a flag.

Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave omg what is even going on here usually you leave the trauma to the end guys. A+ story telling so far.

You mean you don’t precariously balance your server’s monitor and keyboard on the bag of pasta in the pantry ? I mean, each to their own.

Seriously considering switching from iPhone to GrapheneOS entirely for fewer features and for the device to make fewer assumptions about what I want in a particular moment. When did I get so old and grumpy ?

In tiny computer adventures I am writing a report in LibreOffice at the moment on the ex-Chromebook. The report itself is only 10 pages with a few screenshots but I also have open a CSV with a million rows and Firefox with 3 tabs showing me reference documentation. It is genuinely impressive this can be done with under 2GB of memory in use. As soon as I try to open something like Facebook of course it will use 2GB alone - which is an excellent argument for never opening Facebook.

I will never not giggle at this little bit of shade.
