Oops, I forgot to journal for the last 20 years--hang on real quick. "I am so tired I want to cry." Okay, done.

I was definitely picking up what New Radicals were putting down back in the day. And 28 years later... they STILL sound like World Party. I watch a fair few music min-docs on YouTube, and every time I see one about a band that moaned over the pain of fame and fortune I have to laugh. Like, my dudes, it is very easy to be broke and ignored!

I dropped a copy of Gravity’s Rainbow on my foot once, and that’s ironic—or appropriate—or neither, because I don’t get that book like at all.

The Out of Time/Automatic for the people era of R.E.M. is the point at which they became my favorite band. Was this because I was ~12 years old at the time? Yeah, probably. But what a great pair of records to have available to me in my formative years. The Deep Southern Melancholy of Early 90s R.E.M. - YouTube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oCatW6UaCv0

A lot of the post TNG-series material became the Picard/Data show, due to Stewart's demands and Data's popularity. I think they should have embraced that slash in the narrative, and let these two find lifelong companionship together.

I had a dream that they made a sequel series to the original MacGyver where he returns to work after undergoing a Rambo-like transformation: buff and way into firearms. It was called “Mac is Back” and I woke up *furious*.
