  While we were in Iceland, my parents had some friends come to stay at our house. One of them boiled the kettle without putting the whistle-thing down, and it boiled dry and got too hot, the bottom of the kettle is scorched black and the glass of the induction hob is discoloured like there's a layer of something deposited on it and no matter how much I scrub I can't get it clean. 😒 So bloody annoying!

  Suddenly regretting my decision to switch to Vodafone based on their chat support. My new phone arrived, I put the SIM in but it doesn't seem to be activated. Soni checked their help pages, it says to log in to My Vodafone and click My SIM and activate the SIM. But there's no My SIM option available.   I’m 5 days back in iOS-land and it’s mostly smooth sailing, bar a few gestures that I’d gotten used to that don’t work on iOS.   I have a habit of freezing leftovers in a glass dish and then topping them with mashed potatoes to make a cottage pie type thing.   We're away in Birmingham, new dogsitter was able to unlock the smart lock no problem last night but it didn't work this morning. 🤔 I was able to unlock it remotely but I don't want to have to do that every time. I'll see how it goes today but might have to resort to... the spare key. 😖

  Had a blast marching with the bears at Birmingham Pride today, great to meet some of the people from my phone! Especially @deadliftbear who I thirst-followed on Twitter a million years ago and then found out what a lovely guy he is.

  Rob had his first "official" event today, bear bus tour around Dublin with a few photo ops around the city with all the other bears. Now we're chilling in a bar before we go to another bar for him to be presented to the gays of Dublin as Mr Bear Ireland.
