Lightweight :xubuntu: @xubuntu update... Yesterday's elementary-xfce 0.22 [1] resolves some of the more visible (less visible?) bugs found in Xubuntu 25.10: The missing window close icons and scanner options have been restored. Elsewhere, the main Flatpak issues reported at release have been resolved, but issues with AppArmor persist in 26.04 [2]. Slowly but surely, Xubuntu is heading toward a stable LTS release in April. Currently testing @xubuntu 24.04.4. No surprises; things are working just fine. Users running 24.04 already have the latest updates. Xubuntu shares the same foundational updates found in Ubuntu 24.04.4, including the 6.17 kernel. @omgubuntu does a fantastic job (as always) reporting on the updated kernel versions: https://www.omgubuntu.co.uk/2026/01/ubuntu-24-04-4-lts-hwe-update-kernel-mesa Look forward to a slew of 24.04.4 updates tomorrow. #Xubuntu #NobleNumbat
