  RE: https://mastodon.social/@Blender/116483294216656098 I despise gen AI and I think this might do some reputational damage to Blender, but other than that I don't think anything bad will come from this. Patrons can't dictate anything to Blender, it's just some of Anthropic's money that doesn't go to some worse use now. Maybe I'm naive? Drain Anthropic from their money so they never be profitable!

  I find it interesting what combination of games were used for the character/species overview on Nintendo's #Zelda website. Also find it interesting that they have some one-off character/species (Twili, Kokiri), but not other. They don't have the small fairies (Navi, Tatl, Tael), mogma, ancient robots, constructs, dragons (like in Skyward Sword or Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom), ooccoo, or zonai. Gods and demons are also missing (Din, Farore, Nayru, Hylia, Demise).

  Anyone else having trouble running a #Shopify development app today? Loading the dashboard gives these screenshots. When I open the broken iframe in a new tab in Firefox it's the login page (I am logged in), and in Brave its a page that says: This app can’t load due to an issue with browser cookies. Try enabling cookies in your browser or switching to another browser.

  The first response to almost every question on #StackOverlow is: "What is the problem you actually want to solve?" This might be annoying, but it is often the right approach. To step back and reevaluate. But #LLM​s don't usually ask you that. Sometimes a little bit of pushback is the right thing.
