  Every day should be caturday

Good Morning, Folks! I had a friend ask me about getting a trial carry in #PathOfExile2, which made me realize it might be nice to have a guide that demystifies the process. So that is what you get this morning. https://aggronaut.com/2026/06/18/how-to-buy-a-carry/ #ARPG #MMO #MMORPG #VideoGames #Games #Gaming #PathofExile #POE #POE2 #BossCarry #TrialCarry

Good Morning, Folks! Last night we had Thursday Funday and quested as a group in Orr, but before and after that, I focused on World Completion on my Guardian in #GuildWars2. Thankfully, it is still a super chill process that I find deeply enjoyable. https://aggronaut.com/2026/06/19/world-completion-still-chill/

I've never been a fan of christian music, but Jars of Clay broke into the mainstream and I became a fan. I remember going to a concert thinking it would be a normal concert... then there were people in the aisles doing the "celestial benchpress" as my friend called it, raising hands to the sky and such.

Good Morning, Folks! It's another #MixtapeMondays, and this time I have a very melancholy mix of 90s alt-rock that I am referring to as Jangly Bits. The blend is very near and dear to my heart because all of this means so much to me. https://aggronaut.com/2026/06/22/mixtape-mondays-jangly-bits/ #Mixtape #Playlist #music #amlistening

Morning Folks. This morning I talked about some more #GuildWars2 nonsense. I also talk about #PathOfExile2 and the upcoming Phrecia event in #pathofexile. https://aggronaut.com/2026/06/24/tequatl-and-phrecia/ #ARPG #MMO #MMORPG #VideoGames #Games #Gaming

It annoys me that the president took a thing that already exists aka a civics bee and gave it a lame name and treated like it was a new thing

Morning, Folks. The whiplash of returning to #PathOfExile phrecia event after playing a ton of #PathOfExile2 has made me realize a bunch of the things that I hate about mapping in #POE2. https://aggronaut.com/2026/07/01/mapping-in-poe2-kinda-sucks/ #arpg #mmo #mmorpg #videogames #games #gaming

I am guessing Mandalorian and Grogu has not opened internationally yet... because no copies seem to be floating around

Good Morning, Folks! This holiday morning, I continue my #MixtapeMondays series, this time focused on #Eurovision and the songs that live rent-free in my head. Many of these I thought should have won their respective years, but did not get the love they deserved. https://aggronaut.com/2026/05/25/mixtape-mondays-spectacle-politique/ #mixtape #amlistening #music

I have an employee named Jeffrey... and this song lives in my head while I am talking to him... especially the Jeffrey with One F portion. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Xf5mRBPzTQ4

Good Morning, Folks! It is time for me to drop another #Mixtape on you from my #MixtapeMondays nonsense. This one is very much going to be an acquired taste, because it is essentially a nostalgic trip through the music that I used to skateboard to. This is what skater rock looked like prior to the existence of THPS. https://aggronaut.com/2026/05/11/mixtape-mondays-road-rash-rail/ #music #amlistening #indie #punk #thrashcore

Continuing to play some #LastEpoch and really enjoying the Acolyte/Necromancer so far. It's weird how over the last few years I have pivoted wildly on my opinion of playing "finger wigglers" aka casters. I sorta blame #PathOfExile to be honest because that is a game where playing a melee character... is the wrong choice heh.

There is a whole-assed coffee table, but Gracie decides to stand exactly on top of the book my mom wanted me to buy for her... Thankfully, she didn't do anything to it. #Caturday

Good Morning, Folks! Yesterday was the bit #PathOfExile2 reveal stream for the Return of the Ancients league, and holy crap was it massive. There is no way I can talk about everything, but this morning I discussed some of the high points for me personally. https://aggronaut.com/2026/05/08/ancients-league-is-gonna-be-wild/ #ARPG #MMO #MMORPG #VideoGames #Games #Gaming #PathofExile #POE

Morning Folks. This morning I got curious, and it seems like #Diablo4 hit a new all-time peak on SteamDB four days ago. Combined with the activity I am seeing in-game, it seems like the game is in a very healthy state right now. I talk about this. https://aggronaut.com/2026/05/07/diablo-iv-has-good-numbers/ #D4 #DiabloIV #LordOfHatred #ARPG #MMO #MMORPG #VideoGames #Games #Gaming

Good Morning, Folks. Last night during sibling time, I ripped the band-aid off and went through the annoying process of respeccing my Paladin from Thorns to Arbiter/Blessed Hammer, and it has made a massive difference. https://aggronaut.com/2026/05/06/arbiter-is-awesome/ #Diablo4 #D4 #ARPG #MMO #MMORPG #VideoGames #Games #Gaming #Paladin #Arbiter #BlessedHammer

My hot take of the day is that the worst thing WOTC ever did was create the reserved list. I think they should burn that shit down and reprint everything on it. I say this having tons of reserved list cards... but it's a game, not a stock market

Morning Folks. It has been a bit since I have done what I am mentally referring to as "State of the Bel" post, where I talk about how the journey with cancer and chemo is going, and how I am doing. So that is what you are going to get this morning. https://aggronaut.com/2026/05/05/state-of-the-bel-round-three/

I did not buy a Steam Controller today... not because I did not want one, but by the time I even realized it was on sale, it had sold out. Actually, it was in the process of selling out as I was trying to check out, because it errored out while I was trying to pay.

Good Morning, Folks! At this point, I have beaten the #Diablo4 campaign for Lord of Hatred and talk a bit about that from a non-spoiler standpoint. I also talk about the current state of the endgame and how, in some ways, it feels like a step backwards. https://aggronaut.com/2026/05/01/great-story-meh-endgame/ #ARPG #MMO #MMORPG #VideoGames #Games #Gaming

Morning Folks. Monday, the #Diablo4 expansion dropped, and for the first bit, I dealt with pretty frequent disconnects. I talk about this and how I abandoned #Warlock early on and returned to #Paladin. https://aggronaut.com/2026/04/29/diablo-disconnects/ #arpg #mmo #mmorpg #videogames #games #gaming #diablo

I guess I may have sold my RV today? I had no intent of selling it, but also no real intent of ever using it again. It's from a very specific phase in life that we never really revisited after my wife's sister passed. Now that my wife has also passed... I have zero interest in it. It has been parked on a pad we built at my mother-in-law's, and I was fine to let it rot, but I am guessing she wants rid of it, given that she has passed on multiple suitors for it lately.

Good Morning Folks. I'm roughly halfway throgh the evil lemon of chemo, and talk a bit about that, splotchie the stray cat, and some #LastEpoch and #PathofExile nonsense. https://aggronaut.com/2026/04/15/the-evil-lemon/ #ARPG #MMO #MMORPG #VideoGames #games #gaming #cancerboy #chemo
