Say hello to our new foster kitten Vroom Vroom. He was named that because someone found him huddled up alone under the hood of their car. He's between 4-5 weeks old. He seems to be in good health other than he has fleas. He got flea treatment on intake at the shelter and I've been combing out the fleas eggs for the past few hours. He's very sweet and affectionate and loves to purr. Can't wait until he can meet Sugar and Spice. #cats #kittens #CatsOfMastodon #FosterKittens

Apparently I'm not doing a good enough job brushing my teeth and they had to send in a second supervisor. #cats #CatsOfMastodon

It's bad enough I have to fight with Sugar for my pillow, but add four kittens into the mix and I lose every time. #cats #kittens #CatsOfMastodon

The kittens don't comfort nurse on Spice, but they do like to use her as a body pillow, and Spice is very well-known for giving baths. #kittens #cats #CatsOfMastodon #FlowerKittens

Sugar is so tolerant. He will let the kittens comfort nurse on him for as long as they want. #kittens #cats #CatsOfMastodon #FlowerKittens

My wife just emailed me this pic. The title of the email was "Fatty". Lupine is the biggest of the bunch. He's not even 4 weeks old yet and already weighs just over a pound. He hasn't even started eating real food yet or drinking water on his own. I guess he's just big boned. #kittens #CatsOfMastodon #FlowerKittens

On this Caturday, Sugar wants me to remind everyone that it's not just about the kittens. This is what I typically have to work around during the day. He wants to make sure that I remember he's still number 1 around here. #cats #Caturday #CatsOfMastodon

This gray little guy being used as a pillow is Hollyhock. Though you can't see from the pic, he is a gray and white tuxedo, but like his brother Lupine, he has absolutely no white on his face, only his paws and chest. #kittens #cats #CatsOfMastodon #FlowerKittens

Our new mom Foxglove is doing very well. Her kittens are growing like weeds. I think it should be smooth sailing from here on. I don't really have much to do for the next 3 to 4 weeks other than keep mom well fed and happy. She'll do the rest. #cats #kittens #CatsOfMastodon #FlowerKittens

The kittens turned one week old yesterday. I guess it's time for some proper introductions. This is Lupine. He's the biggest of the bunch (just over 230 grams). He takes after his mom being a black tuxedo, but he has no white on his face at all. All of his white is on his chest and paws. #cats #kittens #CatsOfMastodon #FlowerKittens

Well, dang. The all black kitten is not going to make it. I've got her in my lap all snuggled up nice and warm and will just give her love until she passes, which will probably be within the hour. #FlowerKittens

It's hard to get good pics of them at this age, but I think my wife did a pretty good job with this one. #kittens #cats #CatsOfMastodon #FlowerKittens

Well... I thought I was bringing home a pregnant cat today, but she decided to have her kittens last night, so here are my five newborns. Two black and white tuxes, two gray and white tuxes, and an all black. Mom is a black and white tuxedo herself and very friendly. Unfortunately, the all black kitten is struggling a little and so I've started tube feeding every 3 hours with the hope that it won't take long to get her up to speed. #cats #kittens #CatsOfMastodon
