I am doing well... not. Ordered a case for this hand-me-down-but-slightly-newer-and-double-the-storage phone, but forgot the screen protector 🤦‍♀️

Pro-tip if you're accepting job applications through #email 1. Set up a dedicated inbox jobs@ 2. Set up the out of office / vacation responder to reply to all your emails with a generic message No, people generally don't like automated messages, but it does help those applying to #jobs know that you got the email. #jobSearch is hard enough these days without that small reassurance.

I’ve tried the #onigiri specific stores and they were disappointing and overpriced. So far, the best onigiri in #Victoria is at #RamenArashi

I go out for a walk with @TheRealPomax and clear up some scotch broom (very invasive and pervasive species of plant). Today, I discovered 10 mosquito bites, and of course, he has none. Anyone know of a #mosquito #repellent (for using on a person) that you can buy in #BC #Canada that works?

I once heard that in order to get promoted at Google, you have to have "built" a feature or improvement, which is why we often see seemingly random changes that may or may not be an actual improvement. *looks over at the new icons*

@ExplodingLemur@mastodon.online not sure what level you’re looking for, but we have a number of infra positions open including Principal Infra Security (levels go Intermediate > Senior > Staff > Principal). Some are region specific for timezones coverage but we’re fully remote. https://about.gitlab.com/jobs/all-jobs/
