  Wie weet van verkeersregels? 1. Onderstaande stukje G Maps geeft bij A aan waar ik sta, op mijn fiets op het stukje fietspad tussen twee weghelften. B stelt een auto voor die voor mij van rechts komt en voorrang heeft. Er zijn geen voetgangers in de buurt. Ik wacht tot de auto (en achteropkomend verkeer) gepasseerd zullen zijn, maar auto B stopt om mij te laten oversteken. Ik schud 'nee' en wijs op de haaientanden voor mijn neus. De bestuurder kijkt verongelijkt en besluit door te rijde...

  Goedemorgen Tooters. Daar gaan we weer: de zoveelste golf hitte. Het is ‘officieel’ geen hittegolf, maar voor mij is het dat wel.   @stux@mstdn.social I saw that the account @Omsham@mstdn.social was hidden, but why? I haven't seen anything bad from someone who calls out for support. Gaza is under a monstrous siege and people are rather trying not to die in stead of surviving. We must keep all channels open to support, even if only morally.

  Een grote zware tegenvaller. Ik had alle email die ik wilde bewaren uit twee verschillende emailaccounts, in Thunderbird verplaatst naar Lokale Mappen, met daarbinnen een door mij gewenste mappenstructuur. Wat er is gebeurd weet ik niet, maar 'Lokale Mappen' is helemaal leeg, al mijn mappen met bewaarde emails zijn weg. Niets meer over. Geen idee wat ik daar nou mee moet...

  Hoe kan ik in Libre Office (Writer) een tekstdocument opslaan in een sub-submap van Documenten? Ik heb geprobeerd met Opslaan en met Opslaan als, maar geen van beiden werkt; Writer meldt dat hij het document niet kan vinden; nogal wiedes: het is NIEUW. Ofwel: paniek!

  @stux@mstdn.social Hi Stux. Ik berichtte een aantal dagen geleden dat de Libre Translate service op toots in andere talen niet functioneert. Ik gebruik de browserversie op mstdn.social en noch op de iPhone, noch op Windows11 doet LT het. Ik krijg een 503 'could not fetch external data' geloof ik.

  Velen in mijn vrij directe omgeving zijn besmet. Niet met covid-19, maar met het virus van overconsumptie, xenofobie en modern kuttenkoppenfascisme zoals dat van Wilders, Baudet, Eerdmans, Yesilgoz en Stoffer... Maar er zijn ook bijna geen alternatieven. Terwijl zij meedobberen op de weldadige stroom pfas-water, lig ik te verdrogen op de kant... Ik neem het hen niet kwalijk. Ik neem het misschien mijzelf kwalijk dat ik probeer consequent te zijn.
