    a thought experiment: the year is 2019. an engineer admits that most of the code they&amp;#39;ve recently been writing hasn&amp;#39;t in fact been written by them, they&amp;#39;ve been outsourcing it. they&amp;#39;ve even installed an editor extension that automates the outsourcing for them. as a result their understanding of the codebase is diminishing and it&amp;#39;s causing incidents. do you a) encourage everybody in the org to start working like this b) fucking fire them
