The <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/foss" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>foss</span></a>; project I've spent the most time on is browsebyquery.sourceforge.net, which is supposed to be a multi-IDE query language for semantic-search of your code (although IDEs change fast...), also some Android apps and other things.</p><p>Other interests include <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/swimming" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>swimming</span></a>, <a href="https://hachyderm.io/tags/astronomy" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>astronomy</span></a>, kayaking, punk/indie music, theater (I see a lot of new plays)</p>

You imply that the problem was the *level* of NASA funding. What would the appropriate level of funding been? The real problem was that the funding they had was largely spent on manned space travel with Apollo-era technology and contractors rather than pursuing innovative ways to make space more accessible.
