greetings mastodon EV experts. #ev - what should I know about selecting the home charger? I have solar panels and single phase. Not looking to go 3 phase. I’m home almost all the time so charging schedules unimportant? (thanks for help so far, there is a wealth of knowledge here)!

the latest security stunts from Anthropic and OpenAI serve just one purpose. To push the narrative that this is "critical infrastructure" that requires a government bailout when both their companies fail financially. The current administration will not only fall for it, they will embrace it. #AI #business

greetings spooks. One Nation is incredibly top down. It would be to the benefit of the country that their internal communications were somewhat unreliable from this point onwards. Love your work. #auspol

ok. You don't like me quoting AIs. So if you are that way inclined put into your favourite answer machine the question "what are the characteristics of the death zone for a government?" then look at the long list of features that you can tick against the Vic government. Actually I like them, but that also is a tick. #auspol

further to One Nation. This excellent investigation from A Current Affair https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1LyqelgeFyM shows what is going on in detail. (Albo: this clearly falls within the foreign influence legislation, prosecute the funders of these operations. It's not credible that the funders are disconnected from ON) #auspol

the Ukraine conflict is a bit hidden now. But an important shift has happened. Ukraine's drones are now manufactured in Europe proper according to Ukraine design. In strict Western legal terms the EU-Russian war has already begun. https://www.themanifestarchive.com/europe-drone-factories-act-of-war/?utm_source=medium&utm_medium=social&utm_campaign=europe-drone-factories-act-of-war #ukraine

I was doing my library volunteer thing and a woman came in to the desk holding a book. “I left the book out in the rain and ruined it, so I bought this new copy”. You won’t see a story about it anywhere, but people are good

special greetings to the Reserve bank who might raise interest rates supposedly to reduce demand in the economy. "Bringing owls to Athens" (Ancient Greek): Originating from Aristophanes, this refers to undertaking a completely redundant or pointless venture, as Athens was already overflowing with owls (the symbol of Athena). #economics

I see Aldi is struggling https://www.perthnow.com.au/news/business/retail/supermarket-war-aldi-australias-profit-plunge-as-shoppers-fall-out-of-love-with-its-cheap-products-c-22211936# A big failing is both short term (daily) and long term stock control is poor. For time poor families it’s a big problem if stuff is not there. The real problem though is that there are essentials they just don’t sell. It’s fine for me, as I have all the time in the world. #aldi

i do like the new Aldi ad reassuring the person stressing over the price of cheese. It should also point out that there will be only one brand of cheese available, and it might be a different brand each week. But yes, it will be cheap. #aldi

He bought his way out of numerous lawsuits, prison, and military service. This list could go on. He has rarely encountered people who cannot be bought. Colesworth to hike prices. One of the ways that Aldi keeps prices low is that they are not very active on stock control. So if you are not attached to a particular brand (for example in milk) then I expect you will still get milk. Of course there are also the things that appear in Aldi for a while and then disappear for six months. I'm not sure how that works.
