I finished up the first wallpaper and I’m exhausted lol but in a fulfilled way. I have two more and then I’ll upload them to my kofi. This first one looks so good, I already made it my wallpaper 🥵 this is why I wanted to do this as a side quest. spectacular choice. 🙂‍↕️

we got a name for our novel: The Rogue Realms 🌚 here’s a lil sneak peek, a taste. I spent time in the gui today, which was simple enough, and thank the heavens for documentation and curious minds in forums. I’ve almost finished writing episode 001, so I’ve been popping bits of the script and characters in so I can feel comfortable in the code editor and see what I need to tweak with the assets, like the characters being different sizes. #indieartist #DigitalArt #gamedev #indiedev #BlackFedi

I’ve been deep in game development, but I took some moments to try a few of my new brushes on a doodle. This is from the calligraphy set! I love thick, chunky line art. And I love free.99 art support so much because it knows the process of creation is vital + we need all the help we can get. People make things and put them on the internet to share and I’m basking in the hope that gives me that the future is already here, in small glimmers. #indieartist #DigitalArt #MidnightCanvas #BlackFedi

The full moon in aquarius really did its thang for the world of my visual novel. I’m co-developing it with my partner, who is also an artist, and we’ve had some striking downloads come through our conversations over the last week or so. The sky cracked open and the world laid real before our eyes—magic indeed. I realized the magnitude of an endeavor making this game is and how much it’ll take to bring it into this realm. whew.

I only need to make Lundi and Ezra’s close up profile assets and those for a cameo character and I’ll have what I need to draft a script for the prologue. 😋 And since I already have bits and pieces of the script, I’m sure I’ll start the sketch for a few backgrounds. naturally, I have one in mind for each mc, so I’m hoping that’ll be enough to get a good portion of the episode playable. ah - I’m excited.

I’m gonna be making art for the rest of my life. It doesn’t matter what I go through, how my body changes, or where I find myself in the world—imma draw some shit. In all of the chaos of existing in this moment, it feels good to anchor into something real.

RE: https://mastodon.art/@andrarenee/116991230473289780 my partner and a dear friend gave me raving reviews and juicy perspective on these pieces and my process and I’m really grateful to be the channel for these stories and have people to share them with. turn the love all the way up. 😭

And look what the midnight canvas has brought us. I had every intention in redesigning this one for a more stylized iteration, but when I tell you this just flowed through and I’m so pleased with the beauty this character wears. A bob tribute to the og Bucciarati. so, this is Lundi, another oc and 1/3 of the mc leads for my visual novel. #indieartist #DigitalArt #BlackFedi

portal magic me, s’il vous plait 🙂‍↕️ The next iteration of this is to experiment with the effect of whatever the portal is made of—I’m not sure yet, but I’m leaning towards an energetic liquid as the base. I want herbs and some kinda non-toxic gas. ah, & this is my oc River btw. mc lead for my visual novel. #indieartist #DigitalArt #BlackFedi

I’m looking for a fully remote, project-based strategy / admin or communications role on #criptime alongside a values-aligned visionary where quality is at the heart of the operations. I thrive doing the slow, foundational work of asking questions, independently researching, + identifying sustainable solutions that support backend organization and humanize the exchange of services. please boost me to the ones not pretending everything is fine for profit! 🙂 #getFediHired #BlackFedi

fresh website updateeeee: https://anijoue.digital/tightcurlgarden 🌷 I’m now offering Ritual Care Calls which are 1:1 sessions for Naturals where we talk practicals of caring for tight curls and also energetics of crafting identity beyond hair and unraveling the ancestral stories that desire rewriting. Most care happens at-home but it’s easy to feel like the support is only in the salon, or that it doesn’t account for the emotional/spiritual unfolding, so this is my response to that gap. 🤎
