Did you know there's a directory of Fediverse providers, showing things like supported platforms, tools, apps, and even consulting services? Check it out at https://connect.fediforum.org or @fediforumconnect

Today is local news day! If you like to keep up with what's going on in your neighborhood, city, or county, local news is where it's at. But with centralization and buy-outs of newsrooms, there is less and less local news available. Find out who your local outlets are, and donate to support them, here: https://localnewsday.org/newsrooms/. #localnews

Fun thing I learned today at #FediForum. @ozoned runs a show called “It Works on My Machine” where app developers walk him through installing and running their thing, accompanied by fun banter. That sounds like such a cool way to learn about new open source software.

Good reading from Sean Tilley about how to advocate for the Fediverse / Open Social Web. Some really good points in here. https://deadsuperhero.com/reimagining-fediverse-advocacy/
