<p>I was convinced I had a bio here, however it seems there was not one. Here it is:</p><p>Based in the Amsterdam area. Born in The Netherlands and very much a European citizen. Being multilingual is very common around here.</p><p>The human scale in technology is something I find extremely important. Programming stuff to move data around and hitting keys to create music. Some problems should not be solved by technical interventions. Machines are tools that need to be used wisely.</p>

There is no need to store a phone number. Now they like to scan my face and/or official ID? After what happened with all of those ID&#39;s that got stolen? They are not thinking straight are they?

    @arjenlubach@mastodon.social De kijkcijfers is zo&#39;n heilig huisje in Hilversum dat grondig aan vernieuwing toe is. Eigenlijk is de kijkcijfermeting niet erg accuraat. De &#39;stream count&#39; is in dat opzicht veel exacter.

    Deze dingen blijf ik toch erg bijzonder vinden. Serieus, hoezo heeft de website brandweer.nl bij de trackinginstellingen maar liefst drie knoppen die om toestemming vragen voor advertenties?     @Olson They will take another picture without the barn in shot. ;-) I know, that was not the point you were making. Agreed, space junk falling down is a very bad thing and should be stopped. I urge people to stop using any service that uses satellites in Lower Earth Orbit (LEO). Stop using services like #starlink as it is far more polluting than you think. @julescelt01 @markmetz @sundogplanets @river

    @kirschner And Microsoft will obviously not lower their prices now they have the customer onboard in their system. When it is extremely difficult and costly for your customer to leave you can basically ask any price you want.
