While I appreciate the honesty, I feel like this performance review feedback isn’t actionable enough in its current form.

Found myself looking up how to make html image maps for the first time in a while, tonight. For fun reasons. And… maaan, the web was cool. I mean, look at this thing, untouched since nineteen ninety-seven. https://home.ubalt.edu/abento/imgmap/maptutor-worf.html

Hey lazyweb, re: this subsidized ground beef import thing, every story I’ve heard/read notes that the U.S. beef stock is at a (historic?) low level, but no reporting I’ve seen explains why. We’re outrageously friendly to grazing and cattle in the U.S., so why _is_ the domestic stock of beef so low?

This big orange crossed the street to get pets, purr, and roll on the sidewalk in the sun, so we’re best friends now.

My neighbor sometimes sweetly brings over pastries from the neighborhood shop on a sunny Sunday morning, and, having celiac and allergic family members in the house, I have to sit on the porch in the sun and just eat them all.

TIL that Fuji’s raw studio software has perfectly nice support for saving and editing film simulation recipes. It’s been there all along! I exclusively used Lightroom when I primarily made raw images, so I never thought to explore it. Never stop learning, huh? https://prettygoodhat.com/note/1779659143/

Muxy is a cool project, approaching terminal-as-IDE. It may be too heavy for when I frequently just want a quick terminal, so I’m not sure it fits long-term for me. But it’s neat! https://muxy.app

I have apparently reached the age where I say, out loud, things like “oh, great, my new sun shirt came in the mail today.”

Car-free Lake Washington Blvd is amazing. I biked from my house to Mt Baker Beach, down to Seward Park, then detoured one block uphill for refreshments at Aslan. Stopped at lakeside for another snack on my way home. People everywhere. Beautiful afternoon. Unchartable vibes.
