  Did you know that many tape measures come with the length of the body printed on it? It's more accurate to use that length rather than bending the tape to fit in a corner and guessing what the length is.

  Added a new git alias to my config: mine = "!base=$(git log --perl-regexp --author=\"^(?!$(git config user.name))\" -1 --format=%H); git diff \"$@\" \"$base\"" So often I'm working on a local branch and want to see my recent commits. This saves me looking at git log and manually copying the SHA. Is there a better way to do it? #programming

  My reputation at work for being prepper adjacent (amateur radio, hiking, foraging) was not helped when I demolished everyone at tactical laser tag. 9:1 kill death ratio in one round. Super fun though! Realistic M4 rifles with CO2 cartridges for the firing effects.
