I try to work hard at lazily going nowhere fast, after starting the day with a ponder over a cuppa. When not lazing around, I nip out for a bimble in the countryside or around out of the way villages. Then reflect on my day’s activities in a tea room or a pub, which ever is closest to hand at the time.

Leaving only footprints in the countryside, and taking only memories and photographs.

Life is short, time is fast, no re-plays or rewinds, so enjoy every moment and make it count for something.

@dhry@mastodon.social If your new camera has in-camera focus stacking where it produces a jpg in camera after the cycle is finished. Try it with some landscape shots. Helicon and Zerene both offer a 30 day free trial, so if focus stacking is not something you need, you just cancel at the end of the free trial. I sometimes use focus stacking or focus bracketing on some of my landscape and waterscape shots. My OM-1 will focus stack upto 15 images, if I need more I use bracketing.

@dhry@mastodon.social I also have the OM TG-7 as my go anywhere pocket camera. I've had a TG Tough camera for as long as I can remember, it is a great holiday pocket camera that can cope with the cold when skiing, or the water when snorkelling. It delivers images in RAW and/or Jpg. It goes places my big camera can't, and can produce some great macro up to 4 x magnification. I do sometimes wonder if I need my 90mm with having my TG-7, but I'm not ready to get rid of it just yet.
