I saw on a YouTube video that they have some "quick, it's a limited deal!" events that pop up all the time where you're forced to get 3 items or more in order to get the free bonus and you need to do it QUICKLY and can only choose from a limited pool of items that the algorithm chose for you according to what it thinks you like, so people is buying shit for FOMO

Not a sysadmin but just an hobbyist: is it ok to have such a large install bare metal and not containerized? For example the issue of MySQL 5 being unavailable would be a non-issue with a container

In Italy if you get fired (not if you quit voluntarily) it's mandatory by law to get 75% of salary for 104 weeks (but from the six month it will get reduced by a 3% monthly) plus the severance package is at least 6.9% of the yearly gross salary multiplied by the number of years worked there. On top of that, most union contracts (97% of workers in the country) increase that amount of money that the company has to pay. Finally, it's a bureaucratic mess. You can't just fire employees...

My conspiracy theory: those signing keys are very "tasty" maybe Microsoft was aware that some state-sponsored attacker got hold on them and blacklisted for everyone's safety. Imagine what would happen if NSA or that other Israeli spy company could sign fake veracrypt or Wireshark binaries
