This was technically the first album I released this year (it was still 2025 in Alaska when I hit the "publish" button but Bandcamp shows its release date as January 1st). It's a simple, relaxing little exploration of ambient kalimba and I'm very fond of it. #BandcampFriday #FairtradeMusicFriday https://undercat.bandcamp.com/album/kalimba https://mirlo.space/undercat/release/kalimba https://bandwagon.fm/69c6fc3a333f7b28f0519d58

I just realized that it's been almost exactly 20 years since I started recording under the name Convair. I have nothing planned in celebration yet but hey, you can go check out this album which contains those very first recordings along with some other stuff from the early years. #BandcampFriday #FairTradeMusicFriday #Music https://convair.bandcamp.com/album/abandoned-airframes

Didn't realize it was Bandcamp Friday again, whoops. While I don't have anything new to release specifically for today, I have three new albums I've released in the past month or so, and several more that were released earlier this year. #BandcampFriday #fairTradeMusicFriday #Music #NewMusic https://undercat.bandcamp.com https://convair.bandcamp.com

On this #BandcampFriday and #FairTradeMusicFriday please give some love to the new Undercat full-length, "Tinky Winky is Dead". It spent many years in the making and I'm very proud of what I managed to create. Thank you so much for your support. #Music #NewMusic https://undercat.bandcamp.com/album/tinky-winky-is-dead https://mirlo.space/undercat/release/tinky-winky-is-dead https://bandwagon.fm/6a6bbbe8756de16b17d2058d

I'm also going to post this Undercat album, which was released in secret last year and sadly got almost no attention. The whole concept was a giant farce that I cooked up for my friend's record label, but trust me it really is an Undercat album and I'm probably prouder of it than I should be. Or maybe not as proud as I should be. Who can say? #BandcampFriday #Music #NewMusic https://resofame.bandcamp.com/album/ghost-dad-ii-elliot-hopper-in-hell-original-motion-picture-soundtrack-r...

Hello Again Friends! I should also mention the recently released Undercat album, "Tinky Winky is Dead", which is very dear to me and took an age to complete. I'd like to believe that it is also worthy of your consideration. #BandcampFriday #FairTradeMusicFriday #Music #NewMusic https://undercat.bandcamp.com/album/tinky-winky-is-dead https://mirlo.space/undercat/release/tinky-winky-is-dead https://bandwagon.fm/6a6bbbe8756de16b17d2058d

Given recent news I'm not in much of a mood to self-promote. However, I will say that I am releasing a new Undercat album tomorrow titled "Tinky Winky is Dead." @nham and @TIBtv are helping me out with a listening party at 7 PM UTC (noon PDT) on Friday. The album is, among other things, a rumination on aging and death, which is sadly appropriate right now. I'm proud of what I managed to put together. It's not perfect, but it's very much a part of me. #Music #NewMusic...

@etherdiver@ravenation.club I thank you again for doing an Undercat release last year. I would be eternally grateful if you were able to fit the new Convair album in at some point. 😺 https://convair.bandcamp.com/album/lived-ever-after

@bazkie@beige.party The 90s because the music was good and I was young. The 2000s because the music was still really good and I was finally doing better with my own music. And yes, I took the 2020s because I transitioned, and met and then married my wife. Whatever else has happened during this shitshow of a decade those are two really positive milestones.

I have surgery today of the gender affirming variety. I cannot eat, drink, or take any of my meds until after its over. By the time we reach that point I'm going to be a starved, caffeine-deprived, feral monster. Pray for my wife, who has to deal with my miserable ass through this process.

The last year marked a seismic shift in my approach to Convair. In years past I was content to do little lo-fi textural pieces and long, ambient drones, but December 2025 marked a return to actual songwriting. The first example of this was "Lived Ever After", which was really a blend of both approaches. "Longing Heart of the North Star" is very much where my head's at now and I couldn't be happier with the results. #BandcampFriday #FairTradeMus...

Bandcamp Friday is beginning to wane elsewhere in the world (not here though because we exist on Narnia time). I probably could have spammed the new EP more but I don't want to be a self-aggrandizing annoyance. Thank you to everyone who's provided support, retoots, bought the album, and said/written so many nice things about my work. It means everything to me. I probably won't ever make a living at this but I really have made some wonderful friends out there in the world...

If I were ever to make flyers or ads for Convair, @etherdiver provided me with the perfect blurb to include on them: "...rock isn't dead, it's just real weird these days." 😹 Thanks again for the review, ED! https://www.etherdiver.com/2026/05/01/opm-time-enough-to-rock/

While we're all recovering from our Bandcamp Friday hangover, there's still this shiny, new Convair EP to be had. Sure it's not Bandcamp Friday but you can still enjoy music like it is.
