  When you join a telegram group that claims to be drama free and there is immediately drama. I got kicked while talking about Mongolian food. Beyond strange, I was vibing with the other guy talking about food and then kicked before I could finish my last response to him.

  Only joined that stupid group to find more people from that con photo. Eleven years and so many of them changed sonas. FA accounts that are just dead with no forwarding contact info. Found out one guy I hung out with at RF is just straight up dead. Go to his FA page and I'm met with a full on death shrine in the comments. Should have kept in touch with him better.

  Every time someone tries to say AI is the next big thing in tech and we need to get used to it I mention betamax. That was touted as the next big thing too and it never went anywhere. History is littered with inventions that failed to gain traction for one reason or another

  On the list of failed inventions we have those single use DVD rentals. You rent the DVD, open the special packaging and within three days a special coating eats through one of the layers making them unreadable. Touted as an easy return free rental method it died as quickly as it appeared.
