BrailleNote Evolve impressions: very, very nice. Incredibly light-weight, very fast, built pretty well, and it is a very rare type of notetaker that doesn't become e-waste as soon as you laeve education, because it runs regular Office apps and Windows 11 Pro. The BrailleSense 7 also seems like a pretty nice device, although I do miss the mini form factor, they've yet to do that for the 20, and running Android still means that your bespoke software and hardware will be utterly wor...

I got super tired of Microsoft seemingly being determined to make the app you turn to when your computer locks up and is laggy laggy itself with screen readers, so I wrote my own task manager. It's pure C ,not even linking against a CRT, meaning the current binary is around 20 KB including a complete, sortable process list. PDF is such a cursed goddamn format. I've just recently learned of a particular type of PDF file that doesn't actually include spaces in the text stream, but instead uses a bunch of fancy tricks to move the cursor to the right visually! This totally breaks Paperback, which is great. Might end up switching back to the tried and true pdfium.

Second ever wxWidgets PR submitted, this time fixing all checkboxes having a label of "check", as horrifying as that is. Hoping for a hotfix.

@techsinger@tweesecake.social I can't reproduce the problem here. In and out of input help mode, alt ctrl shift h works. What exactly breaks here?
