Wow! Breath of Fire 4 is now available on GOG! https://www.gog.com/en/game/breath_of_fire_iv I've been leery of giving Capcom my money since that business about adding Enigma DRM to already-purchased games, and I haven't bought much from GOG since switching to Linux as my primary gaming OS, but I want to encourage this kind of preservation effort so I might go ahead and grab it. It's GOG, so at least we know they won't be adding DRM. #RetroGaming #BreathOfFire...

@scalzi Still kind of a ridiculously pro-AI tone (like people don't want AI PCs because Microsoft's AI isn't as good as Google's, not because people don't want AI in the first damn place, and "AI PCs are here to stay" in case you want to "future-proof" your device for when Copilot is something you might want at some indeterminate future date), but even the pro-AI writers acknowledge that nobody wants Copilot.

Criterion 50% off flash sale is on, for those who are into that sort of thing. Think I'll snag the new 4K release of Pee-Wee's Big Adventure. ETA: I see they've bumped the criterion.com free shipping threshold from $50 to $75, so now I have to decide whether I want to grab 3 more movies or would prefer to wait until the next Barnes and Noble sale in July. #CriterionCollection #PhysicalMedia
