  I thought it was hilarious when RFK Junior started banning food additives and dyes. If the democrats cant capitalize on that gaping wound then they are lost, I dont think any rational person believes in food dyes.

  The question I have is whether Javascript will ever become faster, and not be a security vulnerability. If it was sandboxed maybe it could use a lower level language like Golang or Julia, something still easy but far faster?

  Left leaning people live in gated communities of urban sprawl when they get rich enough, just look at SanFrancisco. Everyone becomes a nimby when their traffic may get worse or a shadow might block their sun, this is human nature irrespective of left/right.

  They're billionaires because of monetary policy, Elon Musk and Tesla wouldnt be worth so much if inflation didnt reward risky assets and provide an unlimited runway to profitability. We bid up asset prices until prices rise 2% a year; prices that exclude assets like housing, subjective hedonic downward adjustments of goods prices, and substitutions/shrinkflation. Blame the rich if you want, I blame the unelected central bank thats debasing your paycheck with 7% annual money supply growth...
