Got to the end of the day - back to bed - I've already had a nap after work. Now that daughter is back at uni, Shadow Cat has come to lie on my legs ( she is on the duvet) which she doesn't do when daughter is here. Shadow then lies just too far away to be easy to stroke...

With heatwaves we have been sleeping with the window open ( cool night air) + curtain open ( to let air in) I'm not a fan of curtains open. Daytime is everything shut to shade the sun. England football World Cup game tonight - will we just hear it through the open window? It's 21:37 and I can hear children outside, why are they not tired like me? #threegoodthings #Saturday 1. Tidied dining table 2. Submitted articles for local magazine 3. Ice cream

Boycotting Eurovision ( easy, I don't watch anyway) #Israel Are we also supposed to boycott FIFA World Cup? I can't remember.

#History relating to #England mainly #Plumbing #Plumber who was the first plumber? To provide houses with clean running water, and to remove waste water, many things needed to happen, including the people to do them. So while researching #WaterWorks I realise there is an extra human question to all this. ( Would also relate to installing gas and electricity in homes, but water is my concern) So the building of reservoirs and waterworks pre 1850 would probably not include water to home (1)

Also - Tailorable did make Jungkook a jacket. I hope for their sake he did wear it briefly at some point... #BTS #Mexico ( I think the jacket must be in a reel or a story as I can't find it now) And look at RM + Suga boldly wearing their glasses. As someone who was told at 13 - wear glasses + have a brace on your teeth - I'm so proud superstars feel happy to wear glasses and fight the "specky" phobia https://www.instagram.com/reel/DYBhRnRxdyw/?igsh=MTMybmlma...

To Canterbury today, after saying I'm buying no more books, there isn't much else to buy but books... ( Some are secondhand) Actually - I did also buy some earrings including a pair 💜 💜 - and a pair with blue wildflowers... #Reading

Today May 12th The UK mornings are cold What is going on? I feel all round not great, I've given up the stupid UK process of trying to book a doctor's appointment #uk

The solution to not getting doctors appt is I bought lots of herbal teas and some cough sweets. That should cover all bases?

I'm still off Kdramas and going through The Classics. I loved this Jane Austen "Emma" ( the only Austen book I've read is P&P hence this watching series) and I felt the casting was ideal. It also seems to have been the inspiration for Kitty XO! Only Northanger Abbey left in the Austen collection Emma (TV Mini Series 2009) - IMDb https://www.imdb.com/title/tt1366312/

An interesting one, to add to my global water ( Water Aid charity) research. That there are places and people who can't bathe ( and in the UK my mum ended up as one of those of people washing herself down with a sponge... But she couldn't have walked to a bath house either. Luckily the care home has a special room for showering disabled old people) Why Korea’s local governments are trying to sustain bathhouses - The Korea Herald https://www.koreaherald.com/article/10718907

#LastStageFits today Is Jin trying to make the peace sign while holding microphone? Hobi has his special trainers on. In the leather outfit photo Suga is almost smiling, and Jin is peace sign - JK & RM were on their way to this silliness. I wasn't planning on saving all the leather outfit photos.

I already had 9 bracelets made, so I've done 9 bags in case we go to the cinema next Saturday. We had stickers left from Jin. I bought loads. Added some hearts & lollipops. Finding it hard to have enthusiasm for further bracelet making. I have two Arirang ones so far. #BTS
