Section 230 needs an update. It needs to be made clear that *hosing* speech is not a liability. "*Recommending*" speech with a black box algorithm that the user can't control or select *IS* a liability.

There aren't always bigger things. There's always one at the top. That's where changes can have the biggest impact. And where peoples focus needs to be. "_What's **your** carbon footprint?_" was a marketing slogan from the big oil companies to steer the environmental movement away from them (where substantive change was possible) onto everyone else, so they could dodge responsibility. It worked remarkably well. You still thinking that way is testimony to the fact.

It’s also not left wing architecture. It’s the cross roads of a left wing housing initiative, and a right wing refusal to spend money on the public good. What you get is something akin to unsecured prison architecture.

Yes. I signed up with Google Play Music All Access in its two month intro way back when. At the time it was $7.99mo for life. They included YouTube Red when that launched. Now after all the name changes and price hikes, I'm still locked in at $7.99. I'll keep it as long as that lasts.
