It's #bandshirtfriday elikkäs #bändipaitaperjantai and due to hasty retreat to the "mancave", I'm only wearing a band hoodie by #Weedeater #NowPlaying #YuriGagarin

Apparently accidentally, todays album was Dolly Parton/Linda Ronstadt/Emmylou Harris 'Trio' album from 1987. I can't stand most country music, so I was happy to find out Dolly's final release from 2024 'Rockstar'. It's not rock as I see it, but there are some really good tunes on it. They're mostly swinging to a mighty countryesque swagger tho. #1001albums

Jussilta hieno teksti #Ropecon tapahtuman tärkeydestä ja vaikutuksesta. Vähän harmittaa etten päässyt tänä vuonna itse paikalle, vaikka monena vuonna on käyty. #rpg #Ropecon2026 https://www.facebook.com/ahlroth/posts/pfbid08eL6X2HxfxXbE7GTELwpdZmwaec9feokciRhbkQmWYTjRrJUfydVnRtTxtSTvmYyl (linkitän suoraan Facebookin alkuperäiseen julkiseen tekstiin, koska se on siellä julkaistu... anteeksi, mutten pyydä anteeksi.)

I'm cheating a bit for this #Bandshirtfriday as I'm working remote and these are often my go to homeshirts. It's #NightVisions movie festival 2016 edition design, IMO pretty metal (and rock) as far as genre movie festivals go. I have like 10 shirts with different NV designs! #bändipaitaperjantai

Hah, naurattaa!

This cracks me up 😆 A dear friend has recently "acquired" #aphantasia after health and burn out related stuff, she knows I have it and now messages me about it with funny insights. She was almost ecstatic about "now I know how you think without imagery" and how it's weird when you think of something "and it's just FILE_NOT_FOUND with an explanation" and then added this: image of a green apple

Vuodeon 2026 Suomen 100 parasta ravintolaa -lista ihan mielenkiintoinen. Nopealla skannauksella kaksitoista niistä on tullut itse koettua, lisäksi ihmettelen ettei Helsinkiläinen #RavintolaSkörd ollut listalla. Useampikin listan ravintola on ollut tarkoitus käydä kokeilemassa. Suositelkaa vegeystävällisiä (lakto/ovo) paikkoja tuolta listalta, kaupungilla ei väliä. PS. Harmittaa miten harva uutislähde linkitti tähän "alkuperäiseen" listaan, etenkin katson sinua Hesari. https:...

This was fun! A colour separation quiz! The yellow tinted ones at the end were really difficult. JND = Just Noticeable Difference, the smallest colour change you can see. Also the fact that I was a professional pressman (print press operator?) in a printing house for nearly 15 years probably helped. This is my feel "good", don't fret, based on vibes, Albums of the Year -list, which I've also submitted to #TheObelisk best of vote (link below, go vote). It's based on actual listens and then I've moved things around according to my gut feeling. I'm not happy with it, but I refuse to spend hours on this, when I should be doing something else and there is still some of the year left. Albums of the Year 2025, according to me: 1. Havukruu...

Do you know of a multiplatform (MacOS / Linux + Windows for now) audio player, which can handle local files (MP3 / FLAC), stream from DLNA and (Open)Subsonic sources, plus does Last.fm scrobbling (ListenBrainz appreciated but optional)? Open Source preferred, but at this point I don't care, if it fullfills all these requirements. #audio #software #opensource #musicplayer
