    RE: https://mastodon.social/@smolrobots/116719638863687606 When my wife and I were expecting our first, we joked about doing a gender reveal party where the big moment would come and it would be something pastel yellow (or otherwise completely ambiguous), and when the guests all acted confused or indignant, we would say &amp;quot;what did you expect would happen if _we_ did a gender reveal?!?&amp;quot; We didn&amp;#39;t know the sex of either of our babies until they were born.

(Edit) Upon closer scrutiny, the temperature changes are clearly absurd. But the point remains: there&amp;#39;s a considerable variation in comfort when walking on the stretches of the street with good shade and those without.

    @Kellyshenanigans@yeg.bike @SRLevine@neuromatch.social I definitely accept your premise—I ride with three cameras: a GoPro on my handlebars, a rear-facing cycliq fly6 jury-rigged to my rack, and a Drift Ghost X on my helmet. All have their own drawbacks. What I would love is a camera as reliable as the Drift but the visual performance of the GoPro. I like the form-factor and battery life of the Drift but the image stabilization of the GoPro. I also found them universally useless at recording a...
