Hey @neil (my main at @andre is mis-behaving so pardon my contact via alt). Your blog post inspired me to add the human.json to https://jaenis.ch/ In case you remember a certain hedgehog postcard, I'd welcome to be allowed to vouch for your site.

@neil @andre You're fast. Had to fiddle a bit with the addon (seed was wrong) but I believe now I've got it. Thank you!

I’m late to the party but want to pick up Jeremy’s tag. The original set of questions were asked by Scott. The reason for my delay will be revealed in the recap for January. This text was also published in German. Here we go: Why did you start blogging in the first place? To be frank, I was against blogging for a very long time. Namely, because when I learned about it, it was pitched as a diary. A diary is something I take notes ... https://jaenis.ch/en/blog/2025/blog-questions-challenge/

Frohes Neues Ja…

As we are entering another year I am planning to renew some of the software I am operating on. Since you might as well run on older hardware because „AI” bros are vacuuming up all the consumer electronics I figured to write down my steps. This article also appears in German. Why Qtile? I’m running on AwesomeWM for a looong time by now. Even so much so that I became a co-maintainer of some plugins. But then, it won’t be ... https://jaenis.ch/en/blog/2026/heading-into-wayland-with-qtile/

Okay, was steht denn dieses Jahr so an? Weiter Absagen sammeln.

... https://jaenis.ch/de/blog/2026/blognacht-eine-stu...

Still haven't found energy to bring https://fedi.jaenis.ch/ back online -- but that shouldn't stop me from participating at #FediJam with https://ryuno-ki.itch.io/hoist-the-sails Basically built this version in two days.
