    @Lydie@tech.lgbt My second job out of college, worked in a building that previously was owned by a company that made currency printing presses. It had a secure (soundproof) typing room and another windowless room with actual copper mesh Faraday cages in the walls.

    @dantheclamman@scicomm.xyz I know I&#39;m a broken record (or looping GIF) on this, but a large reason Pb levels aren&#39;t even lower is Avgas, the 100-octane gasoline fuel burned in virtually all reciprocating-engine aircraft, which still contains tetraethyl lead. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Avgas

    Google/Android just started popping up &amp;quot;Translate to English&amp;quot; whenever I opened a #Signal group chat (which is in English), which means Android is reading, or trying to read, my chats, and is obviously phishing for more training data... Turned off &amp;quot;live translation&amp;quot; in my phone&amp;#39;s settings, but how can this be prevented?
