Maybe they want to be the competent one, but I can also see the appeal in someone who is comfortable with who they are and happy to try things they aren't good at. Personally I find competence in something hot, I love when guys are good at doing something. But nobody is good at everything and willingness to step out of your comfort zone is also hot.

We have crab cakes, some snacks you heat in the oven (jalapeno poppers and bean empanadas), tinned fish like sardines and similar, and cheese and crackers. And a "champagne" the Cava Raventos Blanc Blanc de blancs which is the best bubbly white wine I have ever had and not even expensive. New Year's Day is black eyed peas, collard greens, and potatoes. Yum.

Sometimes I do it before, not after, because UTI. Hands are dirtier than any other part of you, generally speaking. Usually after, but it's just an opportunity to wash my hands in general - I don't really think touching toilet paper to my pussy is going to get my hands dirty. So yeah, I wash my hands because it's a convenient time to do that.

I do think that on a phone or computer one ought to be able to opt out, like how shops who spam me in email say "do you want to opt out of mother's day emails?" Because they don't want to send them if your mom or kid just died, right? But I don't know how you would do that without sort of registering as an alcoholic, which seems problematic. I'm literally subscribed to an industry newsletter and research cocktails for the community here, and haven't seen very many...

I am not as old as Brad Pitt but getting there, and while my "window" has widened as I get older it's not so wide. Married now but if we were still doing the recreational sex I would say about 10-12 years in either direction for casual (as long as there is mutual attraction) but for serious dating my husband is almost 3 years older than me and that's about as wide a gap as I would be comfortable with, my preference is same age. My kids say I seem much younger than him already...

Sure, yes. I don’t even do drugs anymore, and was never really into opiates when I did, but my experience coming out of anaesthesia with a nurse who was remarkably free handed with opiates in the IV as she didn’t want me to wake up quite yet convinced me that is the way to go. Let me just float out on a soft cloud. It’s an annoying feeling when awake and trying to do anything; but as a death it seems perfect.

Ha! I went from #3 in the 80s to #4, then to #1 in the mid 1990s. I don't think it matters where you start, what bothers me so much more is the lack of opportunity to move up this chart now. I knew, in my heart, that if I sold out and worked someplace evil I could have the big money, and what's more, even without doing evil I could have the small money by following the steps - go to school, get a job. I don't feel like younger people have that. It always took some degree of...

I have kids, worked full time as a parent for 25 years and no problem with this. Set the baseline flexibility and treatment good enough to accommodate parents. You don’t need to take it from childless people to give it to parents. Not a zero sum game here. What I do have a problem with is hostility towards parents, and hostility towards non-parents. We are all in this together, and it’s not frivolous to raise the next generation, someone did that for you. Nor is it selfish to just live y...

I wouldn't give mine away, and enjoyed parenting more than any other job, but swear to God with every one of them I said that a parent should be provided with about 5 tranquilizer darts for each child when they are born, for the handful of situations that put you in danger of doing something you will regret. With each one, for me there were about 5 times I wished I could just toss a dart and pow! Kid falls down asleep.
