The Village of Brill. From a map by G Spencer Hoffman. I think this is a lovely mapping style, which while popular in the 1920s, somehow looks like it would fit almost any fantasy RPG nearly perfectly as a GM map or player facing one. It's just a lovely style.

Lady Drummond-Hay noted (on the lack of heating). “We had fostered visions of course dinners, with snowy napery and gleaming silver . . . , but it is very certain that if the Graf Zeppelin pursues the northern course, leather coats, woollies, and furs will be our evening dress. Hot soup and steaming stew will be more welcome than cold caviar and chicken salad. There are sure to be quantities of German sausages, ham, dark bread and butter, cheese and eggs, with good Rhine wine.”

One of the things you really notice about Anglo-Saxon psychodynamic therapists is the quality of their Rorshach tests.

Halley VI British Antarctic Research Station, a modular base that can walk (ish). It's a bit dated now but it's a lovely location for a game. I mean you're going to think "Thing" but there's probably any number of Mountains of Madness updates you could do. That's a nice Cthulhu Now concept, with a Halley type start base. The design is built with habitats crying out to be separated because something something has got inside. 1/2 #ttrpg #...

A little 1928 Graf Zeppelin deck plan. Which is a terrific size for most games because it gives you a lot of airship without that passenger cruiser scale of the later Zeppelins. (from -1928 Zeppelin-Journey Book LZ 127 Graf Zeppelin Transatlantic Airship Lakehurst) #ttrpg #ttrpgmaps #cthulhu
