  This is the same thing as burning down your house to keep warm at winter. The russians see more value in firing SAMs as missiles on Ukrainian civilians than shooting down Ukrainian incoming air targets. 2025 they converted ~200 SAM missiles. 2026 they plan to convert 480 by the end of the year.   Nothing to run the petroleum engines och the civil society, no logistics to ship war materials to the front, the very economy is ruined with inflation, high interest rates, upcoming bank runs and bankruptcy galore. The upcoming conscription will further screw over the economy by removing workers and breeders.

  This is like the book Red Storm, once NATO bombed petrol logistics the USSR attack died. russia have a few beefed up units that can assault NATO, what happens when their first batch of petrol is out? Ukraine is breaking the back of russia. If they keep this up a month or two, how will russias society cope?
