Youngest finished setting up a batch of mead. Youngest: I completed a project. Why do I feel upset? Where is the crowd cheering my name? Me: Yeah. I wrote 30 stories in 30 days. I want a parade. Youngest: Come to the window and I'll show you the parade. I promise not to push you out. We're doing just fine.

May I recommend the live concert of a master of music recital? Going on now. Victor Lawton II Composition Recital, U. of Oregon. Right now it's a quintet of flute, sax, and three clarinets, but there was an earlier marimba quintet. This is good stuff. www.youtube.com/watch?v=DagwDHkk4a0

I am going to a social thing about fountain pens, meeting strangers. I am awake and getting ready 5 hours in advance because I want to get a good grade in socializing. The husb is coming with me and he started getting ready even earlier. It's nice to know we are equally awkward and determined.
