Seeing as how Hank Green has now admitted he's been using ChatGPT to do research for his scripts, which carries over into the finished product, and Claude for working on an upcoming book, it does make me wonder about that disastrous SciShow episode about knitting, which was so bad it got removed from their channel. Factual errors, weird tonal stuff, just a mess overall. Makes me suspicious.

Always have to shake my head at permaculture YouTubers who talk at length about how we need to be harvesting precious water as part of an overall strategy to mitigate climate change, but have thumbnails and music generated/regurgitated by "AI".

Do girls explore each other's bodies? Do girls travel down the waterways and scale the peaks and marvel at the wonder of each other's bodies? Do girls establish colonies across each other's bodies? Do girls oppress and genocide (cultural and regular) the native populations of each other's bodies? Do girls establish extractive industries and farming practices that destroy the ecosystems of each other's bodies?

Man, the #NoMansSky swarm expedition was the worst thing I've sunk costed my way through in a long time. Overhyped, barely delivered at all. Design decisions so predictably bad they border on self-sabotage. Didn't pay a dime but feel like I should ask for a refund. #gameing #NMS #NoMansSkyExpeditions

I figured it out! That #Mineclonia #Stoneblock mod that I couldn't figure out *any* way beyond "grantme" or similar to get water, I solved it! I started a new world and looked around with noclip and it turns out a bunch of caverns didn't get the air replaced. And the bigger ones tended to have water in them. So it was just a matter of figuring out where one was with the minimap, and I got it figured out. What an utter pain though. And, of course, it was full...

Ugh, this #Mineclonia world is driving me to distraction. I have cured THREE zombie villagers, and yet every single one died when I tried to get them out of the boat. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. #luanti

Ugh. Been playing around with a Stoneblock mod for #Mineclonia in #Luanti which replaces all unoccupied air blocks with stone except an 11x11x7 room you spawn in. It's intriguing and allows for some interesting stuff, but I've found that it's near-impossible to get water. Apparently water generates *after* air? So it's all stone too. Also wandering traders seem to never spawn, so I can't go that route either. I get rainfall effect if I mine up enough blo...

That's distressing. I was hoping to buy the Vermis books for my birthday next month, but when I looked at the publisher's website only I and III were available. II was out of stock, and it seems to be out at every retailer I can find. Even used bookstores are out. The only thing I've found is a listing on eBay for hardcover editions of the first two books, but it's US $850, which as you can imagine is a tidge out of my price range. #books #Vermis
