Two Moors Way is on my bucket list, just make sure you have enough power for your devices if attempting the full 117 miles - check out some portable power stations on [gearscouts.com](https://gearscouts.com/power-stations) to find ones with the best wh/$ value for multiday hikes.

Wanderer looks cool, I've been using OpenTrackMap for my hikes which is also self-hostable and has some basic sharing features, but tbh I usually just end up listening to audiobooks on the trail with the soundleaf app while tracking seperately.

Defintiely go with lever/flip locks over twist locks - I've had multiple twist locks fail on trails but never had issues with lever mechanisms even after years of heavy use, and there's a good guide comparing different hiking pole types at gearscouts.com that helped me choose my current pair.

I've used AllTrails for years but this AI feature seems like a disaster waiting to happen - always carry a paper map and compass as backup and know how to use them, because even the best apps fail when your battery dies or you loose signal in the backcountry.
