  I am much improved on day 3 of my illness. So far, it was just a sore throat, minor nasal involvement, and a mild sense of being systemically ill. Last night was one of the most solid nights of sleep I've had in weeks, and this morning I feel much improved. I will still do the Covid test this morning - sometimes that fucker likes to make you think you're improving before coming back. But I think I'm OK.

  I'm currently sick, so my plans to celebrate the Equinox a few days early tomorrow might need to be pushed back to the actual Equinox on Tuesday. I have shortened my rite to the Diwós Sunū ( the proto-Indo-European Dioskuroi ) so I can perform it after work. If I'm recovered by the full moon on the 29th I might perform my longer, complete rite with some adjusted language (not the Equinox, just an early autumn rite to the Divine Twins). #Heathenry #Druidry #Paganism #Polytheism

  I like getting out of South Dakota but I don't think I could live in a suburb of big city Texas. Traffic is crazy here and it doesn't cool off at night. Spokane in the aughts was a perfect place to live - cheap rent, tall trees, great parks, a fun downtown, public transportation, populated but not crowded to the point of being crazy.

  Unfortunately, Megan the beautiful barrel racer isn't here to be captivated by my photos of a forest fire ominously moving closer and filling the neighborhood with smoke.   Due to the heavy prevalence of political content in my feed, I've decided to take another mental health hiatus from the Fediverse. My life right now already takes so much of my emotional energy - a social media feed that robs me of what I have left just isn't healthy for me right now.
