  I did NOT buy an Android phone for anything Google, what they have said or anything else. I have one because I got a good deal and I can remove everything Google about it. And this deal gives me a new phone biennially while keeping the same monthly price which means I can give my previous phone to the family member of friend who is most in need of one and would be most affected economically by having to buy one themselves. I'd easily choose and iPhone over an Android one if they were similar...

  Kinda the ultimate name for a boomer shooter. And I just now realised how easily misinterpreted that name can be, had never thought of the "boomer" part as the generational term. It has no connection to that but I absolutely think many people think it does.

  "to live in the past" is so fucking dumb, it shows that the person who wrote that title and the publisher who approved it thinks depending in AI, not caring about the data collected from you, jumping into whatever new popular thing and never having any critical thoughts about where this is all going is a good thing and the future. They're actually living in the now and making choices from that and for the future, they understand the objectively bad practices and shitty behaviour...

  Here in Sweden I have over 20 choices of providers, many with specific a focus. One that is superb, which is the one I have, don't do any tracking or information gathering at all. They are fully focused on privacy, an open Internet and have helped countries in need, like Ukraine, with hardware to keep Internet access on.
