    @DM_Zeppelin@dice.camp Sadly, it&#39;s worse. It&#39;s about being able to identify all sources of dissent. The surveillance capitalism thing is valid, but to me that looks more like a convenient side-benefit. So it&#39;s not the &quot;what&quot;, so much as extracting a revenue source from the &quot;how&quot; while being enthusiastically complicit.

    Further adventures in Kat not needing a new microphone*. Out of curiosity, I pulled out the ancient dynamic mic and tried it again. Reader, this time I did not hate the result! It&#39;s almost like I&#39;ve learned how to use my voice better, and the problem was actually vocal dysphoria. Who could have forseen this? *Apart from the obvious fact that the mic is not my limiting factor.
