This story is kind of wild and frankly it is only a matter of time until someone gets killed. Meta’s AI agent Muse gives out user’s home address without permission, sending buyer to his house | Technology | The Guardian https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2026/sep/28/metas-ai-agent-muse-home-address

I have inadvertently taught my dog that the ice cream truck is an enemy. The truck that rolls down our street every afternoon spews out exhaust and my wife and I go inside the house to close the front windows. My dog has been paying attention to this and now he starts barking at the truck to drive it away. He thinks it works. #dogsofmastodon #noicecream

My wife doesn’t believe we need to buy 15’ animatronic skeletons to dominate the neighborhood. ☹️ #halloween #pointlesscrap #NoJehovahWitnessesAtThisDoor

@scy@chaos.social Interesting, but clearly the Fediverse is very different from the real universe. Went grocery shopping yesterday and I think I only saw three customers, all elderly women, who were masked. Somewhat surprising though was that almost all the workers, of either sex, were masked.

@TheBreadmonkey@beige.party Of course they were going to run out. Everyone wants to take home Olympic-themed condoms to brag about to their mates. "I got a gold medal in FREESTYLE, babe!"

@Ashedryden@xoxo.zone With all that is always happening, at this point I assume state actors are pushing it.

There’s nothing like reflecting on your mortality as you spend the day removing a dying tree that you planted 25 years ago.

@LilPecan@mastodon.social I never understood people who complain like this. There is no algorithm, somehow you chose to be in this timeline. You fix the problem.

@foone This. I once inherited a 1970ish TV with a remote that manually rotated the dial and somehow that was still faster than my current Roku.
