This morning I dealt with a driver wondering aloud "Gee, what kind of jobs can #blind people even have?" and, "Gee, what did any of them EVER do before the Meta glasses?" I patiently explained all the varied jobs done by the blind people I personally know, along with all the skills to be gained at the community rehab program where I work.

Folks, I am so excited and jazzed about this!! I am finally a member of RAMPD recording artists and music professionals with disabilities!! I have wanted this for a long time now! If you’re an artist with a Disability, visible or invisible, definitely check this out. If you’re a venue, recording studio, award show or anything else, check out the trainings they offer to other organizations for inclusion. #a11y #BlindMasto #accessibility #disabledmusician https://rampd.org/profile/jessica-tom...

For the past three weeks, the #disquietJunto Project has been building asynchronous trio collabs!! In the first week, a person creates a piece leaving room for others. Second week, it becomes a duet. Person #1 is on the left and person #2 is on the right. In week 3 the piece may become a trio with the third collaborator being added in the center! #musicproduction #musodon #musicianlife

My Young magnolia tree finally has a bloom!! We have very sandy soil where I live so I’ve been giving her lots of water, compost, and even a bit of plant food now and again. #bloomscrolling

This looks really useful. I get so tired of being prompted with reaper or Osara updates every time I open a project!! https://troet.cafe/@ToniBarth/116547050138807104

Hi! I have very low vision, and this is how I draw! So when I share my artwork, you'll know how it was made. This is called a desktop video magnifier or a CCTV. #a11y #accessibility #BlindMasto

Well, I was enjoying Star Fleet Academy on Paramount + taking my sweet time as I'm not a binger, so maybe 1 episode per evening. And I just finished Season 1 last night. It's a good thing because today I received a random Email from Paramount stating that fraud was detected on my account, which would be shuttered, no discussion, no refund and certainly no help! :(

Here is this week's #disquietJunto submission. We were to create something "refreshing" with a shared sample of cocoa being stirred, so I created something that I think sounds like a fizzy carbonated drink. #ambient_music #experimental_music #noiseMusic #homerecording #musicproduction https://soundcloud.com/jessica-the-vi-artist/fizzy-chocolate-disquiet0744

Here is my latest contribution to the #disquietJunto The prompt was to use polychords, which are different triads stacked. I used two of them, a fifth apart to make these progressions. #MastodonMusic #musicianLife #musodon #homerecording #musicproduction #womenmusician #synth #analog_synthesizers https://soundcloud.com/jessica-the-vi-artist/poly-curious-disquiet0740
