  I can guarantee making them wait won't make them read if that wasn't their first choice to begin with. All you're doing is making them angrier for when they finally do get connected to a person.

  It's interesting that when you see them laid out like this you can more easily see the reasons people could have come to remember this way. For instance, conflating Jif and Skippy as essentially the same product, or getting an association of missing letters from the "eat mor chik'n" cows ad campaign.

  Water isn't like in the video games. It's still a hard landing that you wouldn't survive if you were going too fast. There's just much more margin for error trying to hit the ocean vs. a plot of land.

  I don’t have the luxury of turning down jobs for windows, but I do draw the line at using it on my own systems. They want me to use it, they have to provide the hardware.
