I took a break from my main project to participate in the GoedWare summer game jam. It technically has another day but I won't have time so this is the final product: an observatory simulator with planets, galaxies, and comets! Everything is done with shaders and random noise so no 2 planets or galaxies will look exactly alike. Like all my jam games it's fully open-source too. #Screenshotsaturday #Godot #GoedWareGameJam

Random game idea while playing Connect Four with my kids: ConnectGo, where you try to surround and capture the opponents pieces. The liberties system would have to be reworked slightly as you can't remove pieces in the middle but maybe there's something here... 🤔

Making a system for quests/missions does a lot to make it feel less like a bunch of disconnected vignettes and more like a game. Bonus: the shop actually sells things now! #screenshotsaturday #godot #indiedev #solodev

Just finished a decently sized refactor that resulted in fewer lines of code (+122/-134), eliminated bugs, and makes everything a little more readable. I will absolutely ride this high for the next week. #indiedev #justprogrammerthings
